Warehouse Supervisor

Team Management:

• Lead, coach, and mentor warehouse team members to achieve operational goals.
• Conduct regular team meetings to communicate updates, expectations, and performance feedback.
• Schedule shifts and allocate tasks to ensure optimal workforce coverage.
• Resolve conflicts and handle disciplinary actions when necessary.

Operational Efficiency:

• Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping activities.
• Implement and maintain efficient workflow processes to meet productivity targets.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as health and safety regulations.

Inventory Management:

• Manage inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and audits.
• Coordinate with procurement and inventory teams to maintain optimal stock levels.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in inventory records.

Quality Control:

• Ensure all inbound and outbound shipments meet quality standards.
• Implement and oversee quality control checks throughout the order fulfilment process.
• Address and rectify any quality issues promptly.

Continuous Improvement:

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance efficiency.
• Stay updated with industry best practices and technologies to drive innovation in warehouse operations.

Experience:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a warehouse or distribution centre environment.
• At least 2 years of supervisory or team lead experience in a similar role

Skills:

• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficient in warehouse management software and MS Office Suite.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects as required.
