Our client is a dynamic and growing medium-sized transport company dedicated to delivering exceptional service. They are transitioning from using outsourced HR services to establishing a robust in-house HR department to support our expanding team. We are seeking a qualified HR professional to join their team and take charge of our day-to-day HR activities.
As a HR generalist, you will be responsible for managing all daily aspects of human resources within the company. You will work closely with our external HR partners to ensure smooth HR operations while gradually building our internal HR capabilities. This role is critical in supporting our recruitment efforts, employee relations, and ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment:
· Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including drafting job descriptions, advertising vacancies, and screening applications.
· Liaise with external recruitment partners to identify and attract top talent.
· Conduct interviews and participate in the selection process.
· Prepare and issue offer letters in collaboration with external HR partners.
· Coordinate and facilitate the onboarding process for new hires.
HR Administration:
· Assist in the preparation of payroll by providing necessary data and resolving any attendance or payroll-related issues.
· Access payroll files to address and rectify attendance discrepancies.
· Prepare and issue employment contracts with the support of external HR partners.
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation.
Employee Relations:
· Address basic employee HR issues and provide guidance on company policies and procedures.
· Conduct early-stage investigations into employee complaints or disputes.
· Take minutes during HR-related meetings and ensure timely follow-up on action items.
HR Support:
· Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
· Provide support in performance management and employee development initiatives.
· Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
· Support health and safety initiatives and promote a positive workplace culture.
Salary: €35,000 - €40,000
