Our Client

Empire Recruitment is working with a leading interior design retailer, who is expanding their team and looking to hire a motivated Online Sales Administrator. Roles & Responsibilities

As a Sales Administrator, you will play a key role in managing the customer journey from order placement to dispatch. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in sales administration, be highly organised, and thrive in a busy environment. You will provide friendly and professional support to customers, manage online orders, and ensure seamless stock management.

Key Responsibilities:

Online Sales:

  • Process online orders using Shopify.
  • Record order details accurately in Microsoft Excel.
  • Handle inbound customer queries, including quotes and stock availability.
  • Keep customers informed about the status of their orders via email and phone.
  • Resolve customer concerns regarding pricing, stock availability, and delivery issues.
  • Process refunds and credit notes for returns.
  • Collaborate closely with the Sales and IT teams.

Purchasing:

  • Create purchase orders for both online and in-store sales with various suppliers.
  • Maintain and update supplier files promptly.
  • Oversee customer specification files and ensure they are accurate.
  • Handle supplier returns and exchanges efficiently.

Goods Inwards/Dispatch:

  • Receive deliveries and perform quality checks on incoming stock.
  • Ensure all stock is accounted for as per delivery notes.
  • Prepare delivery notes and address labels for dispatching goods to customers.
  • Package goods securely and ensure they are ready for collection by logistics companies.
  • Liaise with logistics providers to ensure timely deliveries and proof of deliveries (PODs).
  • Manage stock levels and conduct regular stock takes.
  • Perform general office duties and administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements

Preferred but Not Essential:

  • Experience in a similar customer support role.
  • Familiarity with Shopify and Vend sales systems.
  • Excellent computer literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organisation skills.

Package

Salary: €14.50 - €15.50 per hour DOE
